ARE YOU TOO STRONG FOR YOUR OWN GOOD?

The strongest people are often

the most disconnected from themselves.

The Story

If you've ever been called the strong one, we already speak the same language.

For most of my life, I believed strength meant pushing through. Doing more. Handling more. Needing less.

And for a long time, it worked. Until my body could no longer carry the cost of it.

After surviving six cancer diagnoses, years of chronic pain, and decades working in leadership and coaching, I began recognizing a pattern I could no longer ignore:

Many of the strongest people were quietly exhausting themselves trying to hold everything together.

The people everyone depends on.

People who looked capable on the outside while living in bodies and nervous systems that had never truly learned how to feel safe..

What I eventually realized was this…

The strength that helps us survive can also become

the very thing that disconnects us from ourselves.

The cost and the movement

We live in a culture that rewards over-doing. Pushing through. Self-abandonment disguised as resilience.

Survival doesn’t always look like suffering.

Sometimes it looks like success.

Sometimes it looks like achievement.

Sometimes it looks like being the person everyone depends on.

And many people don’t recognize the cost until the body finally speaks—through exhaustion, anxiety, burnout, illness, chronic stress, emotional numbness, or the quiet feeling that somewhere along the way… they lost themselves.

That realization became the foundation for the TOO STRONG method - work that helps people move beyond survival, reconnect with themselves and create a life guided by greater self-trust, freedom and purpose.

Because the strongest people are often the ones suffering most quietly.

Healing is about finally coming home to yourself.

Because your body was never the enemy.

It was trying to bring you home.

WHAT BEGAN AS SURVIVAL BECAME A MOVEMENT.

Because I realized I wasn't the only one.

Everywhere I looked, I found people who had learned how to survive but never learned how to stop surviving.

Survivorship Expert · Author · Speaker

As a six-time cancer survivor, I've spent much of my life exploring what happens after survival - how to stop merely getting through life and begin fully living it.

As a National Board Certified Executive and Health & Wellness Coach with more than two decades of experience and a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, I help people reconnect emotionally, physically and spiritually after years of survival-based living.

My greatest passion is helping people move beyond survival and come home to themselves -

because there is nothing more meaningful than watching someone remember who they truly are.
